WINCHMAX Winch Power Cable Extension Kit. Designed to fit Land Rover Defender. Includes Battery Isolator The battery in most Landrover Defenders is under the passenger seat instead of the engine bay. The industry standard winch power cable length of 1.8m is not long enough to reach so needs to be extended. One of the most common problems we hear of is where power cables have been extended using inadequate cable or low grade jump lead cable. This results in a significant degradation to the winch performance, overheating and even a risk of fire.
